Gil Broza, author of The Human Side of Agile: How to Help Your Team Deliver, has organized a series of virtual training sessions from May 15-23, 2013 with eleven experts, including authors, mentors, executives, facilitators, innovators, coaches and practitioners. The focus of Gil’s conversations with each featured expert will focus on the human side of Agile – managing people, building teams, solving problems, fostering environments that are conducive to productivity and success for Agile teams.
On May 21 at 4:00pm, Caren DesBrisay (VP, Human Resources) will discuss the need for a suitable social environment when collaboration is essential to success.
“For a collaborative, self-organizing team to ever grow, it’s not enough to put people in proximity. An important catalyst is their social experience: their daily non-work interactions, the bonds that may form, and the values they share. We’ll explore the social side of teams and how to nurture it for great results.”
