For the March XPToronto meeting we’re going to do something a little different, a road trip to U of T for an Open Space.
Back in January U of T instructor Susan Elliot Sim ran a session on teaching Agile to University students, in return we’re going to hold our March meeting on the 19th at one of her Software Engineering Course lectures. The format of the meeting will be an Open Space which will be facilitated by Alistair McKinnell. I would encourage all local Agile practitioners to come out and get involved as this will be a great opportunity for Susan’s students to interact with some Agilists and realize that the problems that they are dealing with are not so different. Of course the fact we’re running the meeting as an Open Space will be of benefit to all who can attend – both experienced practitioners and those new to Agile.
The meeting will be at our usual date and time, next Tuesday at 7 PM, but the location will be at U of T, Bahen Centre for Information Technology, 40 St. George Street, M5S 2E4, Room 1200. Please meet me in the hallway near the snack bar, we’ll congregate as a group and then enter the lecture hall together. Hope to see you there.
