The software industry is changing as businesses increasingly demand faster time to market and better software for their customers. Many companies are now embarking on Agile transformations, with mixed results. Although the people and process aspects of Agile and Lean are very important, teams often don’t have the software discipline required to be successful in this new world. This session will demonstrate extreme engineering practices including automated testing, test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and a variety of open source tools that you can use now on your own projects to make this all work.
Adam Thody is practice lead for web, mobile and cloud applications at Architech Solutions, a custom software design and engineering company based in Toronto.
