Microsoft shows Love for Node.js

Microsoft’s WebMatrix streamlines web development allowing you to write your apps using .NET, PHP, CSS3, and jQuery, but what has really caught my attention is its support for Node.js. Among other things, it provides the scaffolding you need to get started with Express for Node, supports socket.io, and manages your dependancies. It even supports Intellisense for Node’s core modules.

This is a really exciting time for JavaScript and Microsoft’s commitment to Node.js will only propel it further.
