Next Generation Browsers Will Be Using DirectX for Rendering

IE and Firefox Will Be Using DirectX for Rendering in their next major release. What does that mean for everyday users? It means better looking text, smoother scrolling, web page zooming that preserves crispness and clarity, smoother animation effects, and other good stuff.

Better browser rendering along with better refinement of the HTML 5 standard could really mean that Flash is one of the options instead of being the only option when it comes to fancy animations on the web. I know, there’s SilverLight and JavaFX, but who really uses them?
