Creating a RichFaces Skin

One of the elements of RichFaces that I like is its idea of “skinnable” components — that is to say, giving components a particular look-and-feel. Mostly, this just involves certain CSS artifacts. I hadn’t found a quick and easy description of the “proper” way to build a good skin, until I recently read this wiki page on the topic.

Conveniently, they describe the process of building a skin using very familiar tools such as Maven.
