We dropped a new version of the code base out to the production TL7 server this afternoon. Some of the new features that I’m interested in highlighting are:
- A screenshot tour of some of the features of the application that our beta clients can make use of.
- A report about the contents of the IEHR message set. It’s hard to read some of the standard deliverables (XSDs and MIFs), and we’ve flailed about looking for a good way to see a high-level view of the components of a message. We hope to put up more reports like this.
Of course there are numerous improvements to the validator, various stability and performance improvements, and we’ve fixed up some look and feel concerns on some browsers like Safari and older versions of Firefox.
We continue to have a Big Hairy Audacious Goal in adding new features to TL7: we want to create the best Canadian e-Health standards resource on the web. If you have any ideas about what might make TL7 even better, drop us a line; we’d love to hear from you.
