Finally a useful javascript debugger for Internet Explorer

For those of you who are like me, completely frustrated with javascript debugging in IE using either Microsoft’s old Script Debugger or Script Editor, there is now a better solution. You can download the Visual Web Developer Express Edition (free) and use its first-class javascript debugger. I found this blog How to debug JavaScript with Visual Web Developer Express that has the instructions on how to turn on debugging in IE.

Also mentioned in the instructions, placing the word “debugger” in your javascript source will trigger the debugger to break at that point, quite useful!
