Common Problems

  • Ubuntu loves to replace the Sun JDK with OpenJDK every time you run an upgrade. OpenJDK has a nasty bug that sometimes manifests that causes the JVM to crash. Here is a set of instructions for installing the Sun JDK (I always hafta go hunting for these).
