I have been using Subversion for about a year now to store bits and pieces of useful code, XML, notes, and documentation.
Yesterday, January 31, 2006, Peter Yu hooked me up with a place in our repository on our subversion server, namely https://subversion.intelliware.ca/rep, and with a cool Eclipse Plugin, Subversive. Thanks also goes to Kevin, who set up the server in the first placeand is responsible for its maintenance.
Previously I have been using Subclipse, which proved itself adequate for small and medium size projects. The old repository location was file:///192.168.3.55/iwd_users/Joseph_triversity/svnroot.
Another cool piece of software is TortoiseSVN. It integrates nicely with Windows Explorer, is quite stable (I haven’t come across any show-stopper issues yet), and gets the job done fast.
